Purpose:
The MedTech Senior Data Analyst is responsible for aiding in the development and owns the implementation of a multi-year strategy to deploy innovative reporting & analytic capabilities, using the established analytic platforms within J&J.
The analysts will work closely with the MedTech Integrated Business Planning team, the Digital team, JJT, TS and the Global Planning Process Leaders to make sure deliverables are driving the right business performance. The analyst will drive operational efficiencies and coordinate transformational projects when needed. He / she will optimally aid in the guimentorship the organization through these changes while ensuring effective execution of the current processes.
You will be responsible for:
* Align with MD SC Digital Stack roadmap and assess opportunities to own the delivery of platform capabilities
* Establish Governance for new enhancements (metric development, analytics, ML models etc.) initiatives and strategies
* Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of standard methodologies to business reporting / analytics capabilities on the platform
* Partner with Technology teams to develop business solutions that improve visualization and virtualization capabilities of the MedTech supply chain metrics and processes.
* Data exploration for new capabilities, knowledge of data sources (ERPs, PLAN systems etc.), functional interpretation, & Data Engineering
* Perform and coordinate UAT to a high level of accuracy, liaising with both the supply chain business and technology partners.
* Drive change in business processes using analytics in partnership with cross-functional supply chain teams. Uses process mapping, analytical & quantitative methods to understand, predict & enhance supply chain performance.
* Experience in leading teams to provide business insights from the analysis of sophisticated data.
* Develop Project plans, lead the project management for the analytics development on the MedTech supply chain analytics platform
* Identify the right partners, process and technology capabilities that are needed to drive increased data and analytics maturity
* Help the organization in assessing opportunities to drive operational efficiencies in data & analytics
Qualifications / Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree required with preference in Supply Chain, Operational Research, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering or equivalent/Advanced degree/MBA preferred
* Minimum six (6) years of meaningful experience are required.
* Experience working within a multi-regional and multi-functional team in a highly matrix environment is required.
* Experience with data (acquisition) platforms (SQL, etc), Data & analytics (Python), and visualization platform delivery (Tableau) is required.
* Knowledge in Supply Chain KPI reporting, and SC metrics preferred.
* Experience with global and virtual teams is highly preferred
* Experience working in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Consumer Products industry preferred
* PMP, FPX SME, lean / 6S Black Belt or equivalent certifications preferred.
* APICS certification (CPIM, CFPIM or CIRM) preferred.
