Key Responsibilities
* Research, investigate and produce high-quality news stories
* Conduct interviews, attend events, and cover breaking news across Ireland
* Verify information, fact-check thoroughly, and meet tight deadlines
* Collaborate with editorial and production teams on content planning and strategy
* Create engaging multimedia content, articles, photos, and video reports
* Build and maintain a network of sources within Irish media and public life
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Degree in Journalism, Theology, Philosophy or equivalent experience
* Proven work or internship experience in journalism, reporting or editorial
* Fluency in English with exceptional writing and editing skills
* Able to work independently under time pressure with attention to detail
* Tech savvy: Familiar with MS Office, digital editing tools, search platforms & databases
* Photography and/or video journalism skills are a strong plus
* Keen interest in Irish news, politics, and cultural issues
* Excellent communication, networking and investigative instincts
* Native English speaker preferred
