The successful candidate will have a hunter mentality and will be responsible for winning new business opportunities.As a Global Account Manager, you will manage the complete sales cycle from initial prospect engagement through to deal close, and ongoing account management. With a consultative, services and solutions-based selling style, you will build effective relationships to fully understand customer requirements and needs. You will work in close collaboration with the Pre-Sales, Services and Projects teams to develop robust client solutions and managed services propositions. The successful candidate will be a determined, self-sufficient and energetic individual with exceptional communication skills.ResponsibilitiesTo create and identify new business opportunities within large enterprise organisations that support the achievement of your sales targetTo create, maintain and execute strategic account and opportunity plans to ensure structured development and an organised approachAbility to develop pipelines through strategic and targeted planningTo engage various stakeholders which often includes procurement and commercial departments to establish the project needs and delivery requirementsTo manage all customer engagement, solutions definition, bid negotiation, pricing and closure activityExperience and skills we value10 years’ experience in a Global Account Manager role selling multi-vendor ICT infrastructure solutions or Managed Service/outsourced solutionsA track record of identifying, managing, negotiating and closing substantial IT/Communications service, managed service, consultancy or solution based contractsExtremely organised and disciplined with excellent communication skills and a realistic approach to pipeline evaluationAn astute, commercially aware individual with a naturally inquisitive streak with the ability to overcome obstacles and simplify complexityExperience working to achieve sales targets and meeting management expectations in terms of accurate forecasting and activity planningSelf-motivated individual who can thrive in a home office environmentAs this is a global role candidates must be flexible and be willing to travel to attend various customer meetings/presentations when required.
