This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within our Finance function. We are looking for a motivated individual to support and drive Chanelle Pharma’s vision to be the most valued global provider of high-quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products, and to provide excellent services and support to our customers.


Position Overview

This is a key role within the Finance structure, responsible for processing Accounts Payable transactions for the trading group. The Accounts Payable Team Lead will report to the Finance Manager. The role is based in Loughrea and offers a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) post-probation.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the Accounts Payable team, ensuring performance goals are met.
2. Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes for timely and accurate completion.
3. Ensure invoices are submitted and routed correctly.
4. Verify stock invoices against Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
5. Perform monthly creditor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
6. Support the transition to a new ERP system.
7. Prepare month-end Balance Sheet reconciliations.
8. Assist with weekly creditor payment forecasts.
9. Review and enhance internal controls to prevent unauthorized transactions.
10. Coordinate with other functions to ensure procedural adherence.
11. Streamline payment processes to optimize efficiency.
12. Collaborate on improving the Procure-to-Pay process.
13. Enforce Delegation of Authority compliance and investigate control issues.
14. Provide training on invoice submission procedures.
15. Identify workflow improvement opportunities.


Qualifications & Experience

* Third-level qualification in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
* Experience in a multinational organization preferred.
