The company delivers complex building envelope packages on large-scale, high-value mission-critical projects and is continuing to expand due to strong growth across Europe.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the full commercial management of roofing and cladding packages on Data Centre projects, from tender stage through to final account. This is a head office based role with involvement in high-profile international projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of Bills of Quantities and detailed take-offs from architectural drawings and specificationsMeasurement and quantification using digital take-off software (e.g. Bluebeam or similar)Preparation and submission of tender pricing and commercial proposalsReview of drawings, specifications and design informationProcurement and negotiation with suppliers and specialist subcontractorsCost control, variations, valuations and final accountsCommercial reporting and cashflow forecastingReview of design proposals and development of value engineering solutions to optimise cost without compromising performance or complianceLiaison with clients, main contractors, design teams and supply chain partnersRequirementsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (preferred)5–10 years' experience in a similar commercial role, ideally within roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope packagesStrong technical knowledge of roofing systems and materials (e.g. single ply, built-up, waterproofing, insulation systems from manufacturers such as Sika, Soprema, Moy Materials, etc.)Strong understanding of cladding and façade systems including composite panels, insulated panels and rainscreen systems from suppliers such as Kingspan, Euroclad, Paroc, Hoesch, Vivalda, Swisspearl and similarAbility to interpret architectural, structural and façade drawings and full technical specificationsProficient in Excel and commercial reportingExperience working on large-scale commercial, industrial or Data Centre projects would be a strong advantageContact Stephen Kelly on to find out more
