Main Purpose of Job: As the Front of House Manager at our five-star luxury golf resort and hotel, your leadership will be key in crafting extraordinary guest experiences. This pivotal role involves directing all Front of House operations to ensure every guest interaction is flawless and memorable. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with exceptional organizational and communication skills, committed to enhancing operational performance and enriching guest satisfaction in our sophisticated environment.
Main Duties:
* Front Of House Operations: Oversee all front of house activities, including Front Desk, Attaché and Communications, Guest Relations, and Guest Services and Nights to synchronize efforts, ensuring that all guest needs are anticipated and met with exceptional care and attention.
* Leadership Across Departments:
* Lead and mentor teams within the Front Of House, including Front Desk, Guest Relations, Guest Services, Attache and Communications and Nights, ensuring alignment with our resort's high standards of service.
* Exemplary Guest Service:
* Provide unparalleled guest service, focusing on delivering tailored experiences for VIP guests and addressing special requests with precision and elegance.
* Financial Management and Performance Analysis:
* Manage the front of house budget, monitor occupancy rates and revenue streams, and analyze key performance indicators to drive the resort's financial success.
* Guest Care & Guest Relations:
* Serve as a pivotal figure in guest care and guest relations, addressing and resolving any complaints or concerns with diplomacy to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Interdepartmental Collaboration:
* Work in harmony with Housekeeping and Facilities to ensure guest rooms are immaculately prepared and any issues are resolved efficiently.
* Compliance and Excellence:
* Ensure all front of House procedures meet brand standards and comply with health, safety, and security regulations.
* Record Management and Reporting:
* Maintain comprehensive and accurate records, including billing and guest accounts, and generate detailed reports for management decision-making.
* Cultural Leadership and Staff Morale:
* Foster an inspiring and high-morale work environment, promoting professional growth and development within your team to align with the resort's luxury ethos.
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star property
* Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (desirable)
* Strong command of English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience with OPERA, Booking Engines and proficiency in Google / MS Office.
* Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a team
* Exceptional guest service and problem-solving abilities
* Additional languages an advantage.
