Echelon Data Centres was established in 2017 by the main principal of Aldgate Developments, a leading commercial property developer and owner of major commercial office buildings in Central London and Dublin. The objective was developing, operating, and owning a network of large-scale, responsibly designed, sustainably powered data centre campuses across the world to meet the rapidly expanding global demand for hyperscale data processing and storage solutions. Since then, the Echelon Group has expanded to ownership of six sites across Ireland and the United Kingdom, with further interests in Europe, and has secured >€1bn of funding to develop sites, giving the Group an enterprise value of c€2.5bn. The Group's second campus will go live imminently.
Located in Sandyford, Dublin, Echelon Data Centres is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team and help to drive best-in-class vendor controls. The predominantly office-based role provides an excellent opportunity to further professional development in a dynamic, rapidly growing Irish company.
Responsibilities
* Processing invoices and employee expense reports.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Prepare and process vendor payments.
* Manage the group's banking facilities.
* Work closely with the Project Management Team to ensure spend approval process is correctly implemented.
* Assist with monthly reporting to investors to maintain cash flow.
* Coordinating with members of the finance team to maintain reliable and accurate underlying financial information.
* Assisting with production of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations.
* Supporting the team for annual audit.
* Implementing and suggesting improvements the Group's internal controls.
* Providing ad-hoc finance support to members of the management team as required.
Competencies, Behaviours and Qualifications
* At least 2 years in a similar role.
* A strong attention to detail.
* IT literate with proficiency in MS Suite with Excel to intermediate level.
* Self-management skills with an ability to manage changing priorities.
* Highly organised.
* Flexible, positive, and innovative approach to work.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Good team player.
* Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Experience of NetSuite is desired but not essential.
