Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Commis Chef to join our hotel or hospitality team. This role offers 24-32 hours of work per week, providing an excellent opportunity for those passionate about food production and menu planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing the hotel kitchen's overall operations.
* Collaborate with department and banqueting managers to monitor food quality and hygiene standards.
* Possess the ability to prepare high-quality food and take pride in your work.
* Contribute to revenue maximization, cost percentages, and menu structure through suggestions and feedback.
* Understand and commit to HACCP and kitchen hygiene procedures.
* Show flexibility in working hours and demonstrate a strong work ethic and customer focus.
Requirements
