A fantastic opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join a company that values career development and employee engagement.Apply promptly A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in a customer-facing role, with proven ability in pricing, estimating, quantifying work requirements, and preparing customer quotations.Knowledge of the automotive or maintenance industry would be a strong advantage.ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES Finalise quotations before approval and dispatch to the customer.Monitor the production pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of work prepared for the workshop supervisor.Liaise with customers regarding their individual quotations and requirements.Complete the Daily Update procedure to oversee the current Work In Progress list and all vehicles on site.Communicate with the administration team on matters relating to customer account management.Fulfil spare part picking lists and coordinate the sourcing of components from external vendors when required.Pass fully completed work orders to the workshop supervisor for production scheduling.Maintain oversight of the company's module file.Create new BOM modules where necessary and ensure KPI targets are met; review existing modules to meet current KPI requirements.Review all estimates prepared by inspectors to ensure alignment with organisational KPIs.Collaborate with the administration team to ensure customer accounts are within agreed terms and that vehicles are eligible to enter the production cycle (credit control).When necessary, liaise with the spare parts department and external suppliers to obtain required components, arranging collection or delivery to support customer success.Work closely with inspectors to ensure inspections are fully completed and estimates are ready for review.Oversee the workflow from completed inspections to reviewed estimates to customer-approved quotations, ensuring work is ready for the workshop foreman.As Production Coordinator, ensure all quotations accurately reflect customer instructions and address identified vehicle faults.Identify and communicate updates or amendments required within the pricing system.Assist the workshop supervisor in maintaining workshop standards, including housekeeping and adherence to quality control procedures.Maintain a professional manner and high standard of personal and workplace presentation at all times, ensuring all work areas remain in acceptable working condition.IDEAL CANDIDATE Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer-facing role, including pricing, estimating, quantifying work requirements, and preparing quotations for customers.Level 7 or higher qualification in business, management, or a related discipline.Demonstrated track record of success in customer-facing positions.Strong knowledge of the transport servicing industry, including trailer maintenance practices and relevant industry standards.Familiarity with automotive and vehicle diagnostics is an advantage, though not essentialfull training will be provided.
