Job Title: IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer with deep hands-on experience across infrastructure, networking, and system support within complex technical environments. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years' experience and a strong track record of deploying and supporting robust IT and OT systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing technical team supporting critical manufacturing and industrial operations. Experience in a GMP-regulated, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment is an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, configure, and support IT/OT systems and network infrastructure.
* Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise-grade hardware and network components, including switches, servers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
* Implement and manage Windows Server and Workstation environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V virtualization.
* Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Maintain documentation for system builds, URS/DS/DDS/validation processes.
* Support IT/OT cybersecurity initiatives, including firewall configurations and network segregation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support site operations and system upgrades.
Required Experience & Skills
* 10+ years in an IT and/or OT infrastructure role.
* Full eligibility to work in Ireland (min Stamp 4 Permit).
* Strong knowledge across several of the following areas:
* Ethernet networking (LAN, Wi-Fi)
* Cisco hardware: switches, routers, wireless APs (configuration and troubleshooting)
* Windows OS (Windows 10/11, Server 2008–2022)
* Active Directory and Group Policy Management
* Hyper-V virtualization
* Dell server and workstation hardware
* Cybersecurity tools, especially Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls
* Copper & fibre cabling infrastructure
* Systems documentation (URS/DS/DDS/validation/verification)
* A degree in IT or OT-related discipline is a plus but not essential.
* Experience in pharma, biotech, or GMP manufacturing is a strong advantage.
