Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering organization focused on developing next-generation products.
This role oversees teams across hardware, software, and mechanical engineering, working closely with cross-functional partners in product development and quality to deliver high-performing solutions from concept through large-scale production.
Main Responsibilities
1. Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team spanning several technical domains.
2. Foster a collaborative innovative and results-oriented team culture. Manage headcount expansion and organizational growth in line with company objectives.Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept prototyping through validation production launch.Ensure effective integration of mechanical electrical systems.Guide teams in applying strong design principles risk assessment methods validation practices.Promote design-for-manufacturing DFM design-for-test DFT to ensure smooth transfer into production environments.Act as the primary technical authority for major projects.Project Management & ExecutionCollaborate with project management functions to ensure timely delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.Define maintain clear project milestones expectations for quality performance.Coordinate review testing activities product qualification.Implement effective risk management issue-resolution frameworks.Establish refine engineering processes documentation standards review practices.Introduce scalable methodologies suited evolving organizations e.g Agile Stage-Gate Lean.Track evaluate key metrics related efficiency resource utilisation.Budgeting Resource ManagementManage budgets staffing plans capital expenditure.Optimise internal external resources cost-effective scalability.Oversee procurement maintenance labs tools infrastructure.Provide reporting senior leadership stakeholders.Prepare present technical documentation forecasts long-term plans.Represent business strategic discussions.Strategic Organisational ContributionHelp shape future-ready organisation supporting product growth diversification.Contribute long-term strategy planning.Essential Skills QualificationsDegree in an engineering discipline Mechanical Electrical Software Mechatronics or related field.Minimum 8 years experience managing sizable multidisciplinary teams delivering complex hardware/software products.Strengths include handling high-volume technically complex categories manufacturing environments.Leadership skills successful candidate will play shaping team structure maturing processes elevating technical standards collaboration manufacturing operations.
