- Hybrid Working This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded public sector advisory organisation operating at the centre of Government decision-making.The role offers exposure to complex, high-value corporate finance and strategic advisory work across some of Irelands largest and most commercially significant organisations, combining private-sector best practice with a long-term public interest remit.Salary and benefits: Depending on experience Permanent role with long-term career progression Hybrid working and flexible working hours High-impact advisory work with senior Government stakeholders Broad exposure across corporate finance, valuation, funding and strategy Strong learning, development and professional growth opportunities Reimbursement of annual professional membership fees Defined Benefit pension scheme Inclusive, values-driven workplace with strong wellbeing and diversity initiatives The Role & Opportunity Osborne is partnering with a leading public sector advisory organisation to recruit Corporate Finance Analysts / Advisors to join a high-performing finance team.This role is ideally suited to ambitious finance professionals seeking to deepen their corporate finance and advisory experience while working on strategically significant projects that influence investment, infrastructure, sustainability and long-term value creation across Irelands commercial State sector.Reporting to a Senior Corporate Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support the oversight of a portfolio of large, complex organisations from a shareholder and strategic perspective.Key responsibilities include: Reviewing and analysing financial statements, annual accounts and business plans Assessing borrowing, funding and capital investment proposals Financial evaluation of acquisitions, disposals and joint venture proposals Monitoring financial performance, shareholder return and key financial metrics Developing financial models to support strategic and investment decisions Conducting market, industry and competitor analysis Supporting the oversight of climate and sustainability objectives Preparing clear, commercially focused reports for senior Government stakeholders Liaising with Government Departments and senior executives Experience and qualifications: You will be a commercially minded and analytical finance professional who enjoys working on complex, high-impact assignments.A degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or similar Membership (or progress towards membership) of a professional body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA or similar) A minimum of 3 years experience in corporate finance, advisory, professional services or a large commercial organisation Strong financial modelling and analytical capability Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders Advanced Excel, Word and Power Point skills Experience in infrastructure, utilities, energy, transport or regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential.Pension Abatement Candidates who are in receipt of, or entitled to, a Civil or Public Service pension should note that pension abatement provisions may apply in line with current legislation.A pre-employment declaration will be required as part of the recruitment process.Diversity & Inclusion This organisation is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that supports strong decision-making and performance.How to Apply: Interested candidates should apply through the official application process.Closing date:03 February 2026.For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact Osborne Recruitment.For more information please apply through the link provided for the attention of Cloe Stapleton or call Osborne Recruitment on If you are interested in finding out more about the above role and would like to be considered other suitable roles that we may have available for your skill set please attach your CV via the link provided Please submit your updated CV in Word Format If you are living in Ireland and hold a valid work permit, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
