Specialising in converting waste PET plastic materials using state-of-the-art recycling technology, we are a market leader in providing circular solutions in the plastics industry in Europe.We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller has overall responsibility and control of the Organisation's financial function to include financial reporting, budget preparation, variance analysis, budget updates, general accounting, and inventory and fixed asset accounting.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for the financial management of the organization and the company's finance functionAs a member of the senior management team, participate in the monthly Business Review and annual Management Review meetingsPrepare annuals budgets (liaising with different departments)Cashflow forecasting, updating and maintainingManagement of the company's working capital facilitiesLiaise with private equity firms, financers and consultants, analyzing requests for financial information and determining appropriate responsesGeneral ledger/accounts and reconciliation supportPreparation of the monthly management accounts and other reporting where requiredPlay a key role in maintaining the company's ERP system – setting up the financial systems and processesCompleting Statutory Returns, Vies, PAYE/PRSI, Vat and Intrastat returnsBalance sheet reconciliationsOversee processing of fortnightly payrollCost control and cost management of plant operationsIdentify and drive process/system improvementsFinancial control of new Novelplast projectsLiaising with financial institutions and other finance bodies on project financing or any refinancing requirements or grantsComplete monthly variance analysis of department budgeted and actual spendingPreparation of year end accounts and liaising with external accountants and auditors in relation to same, attending AGMPreparation of Quarterly Board Pack for BoD meetings and attendanceExperience Required5+ years experience in a similar roleManufacturing experience advantageousSystems experience desirable (Netsuite, Collsoft, Softworks)Professional Accountancy qualification or degree in Accounting requiredJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
