Job Description
This temporary position reports to the Production Manager – Area S, Flavour Manufacturing Wexford. This is a temporary role for approximately 6-7 months.
Job Objective:
This position will perform a wide variety of tasks in the overall operation of the plant, using Company Quality system guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Tasks include materials handling, mixing, filling, and labelling. The role requires computer literacy, mechanical aptitude, and physical effort. The position may require working on a shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Main Tasks: (Due to the importance of associate flexibility, associates may be required to carry out other duties in addition to these functions)
* Perform production activities for equipment setup, package filling and labelling, and records retention following Coca Cola Quality System guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
* Prepare all equipment used in manufacturing prior to use to ensure smooth, sanitary, and safe operation.
* Operate various machines as needed to ensure proper packaging of ingredients.
* Maintain the plant’s manufacturing equipment in a sanitary condition according to Company GMP policies to assure product quality.
* Perform final quality checks and inspections for accuracy and visible damage before shipment.
* Safeguard Company trademarks and confidential information related to ingredients and flavours to prevent breaches of trademark security.
* Protect all intellectual property and confidential processes using established legal safeguards.
Skills and Experience Required
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
* 3+ years’ experience in Food/Beverage/Pharma environment.
* Good mechanical aptitude.
* Aptitude for operating machinery and equipment.
* Computer literacy and demonstrated computer skills.
* Experience working in a team-based environment.
* Organized, methodical, tidy, and able to work in a controlled and structured way.
* Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong problem-solving and judgment skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Forklift experience is desirable.
