Location: Lucena Clinic, Child Adolescent Mental Health Services Initial Base: Lucena Clinic, 59 Orwell Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6 Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to defined catchment areas, with an under 18 population of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow .
Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.
DIRECTOR OF NURSING LUCENA CLINIC CAMHS (Permanent, Full-time) Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic are now inviting applications for the post of Director of Nursing.
The successful candidate(s) will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Role Summary The Lucena Clinic is currently recruiting a Director of Nursing.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing Leadership and Management to the Nursing Social Care Department and overseeing the Community Mental Health Services Quality Patient Safety Portfolio for Lucena.
This is a critical leadership and management position responsible for the development and enhancement of the CAMHS Nursing Social Care department.
The successful candidate will also have responsibility for overseeing the implementation of quality and patient safety frameworks, including but not limited to Mental Health Commission Regulations, Incident, Risk Management and Complaints.
Working closely with senior management colleagues and multidisciplinary clinicians the person appointed will have a clear vision for the evolving role of Mental Health Nurses in a service committed to providing assessment, treatment and supports to all children, adolescents and their families.
Experience in developing programmes / systems to support the continuous professional development and supervision of Nurses Social Care staff is a core requirement of this post.
Minimum Requirements Applications are now invited from candidates with experience of working in AMHS / CAMHS who meet the criteria below.
Are registered or are eligible for registration in the Psychiatric Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
And Have ten years post registration psychiatric nursing experience of which two should be at ADON Level.
And Possess a post graduate qualification at not less than level 9 (QQ1) in a health care or nursing management related area and demonstrate evidence of ongoing continuous professional development (CPD) Remuneration Salary Grade **** DIRECTOR OF NURSING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €92,855 - €106,959 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this post is Rathgar, Dublin 6 .
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
