Talent Partners are seeking an experienced senior leader to join the Irish Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of a leading facilities management and technical services organisation. This role requires a proven track record in delivering Hard FM services combined with strong commercial acumen and exceptional people leadership skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships at all levels, lead high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence across a diverse client portfolio.
Role Purpose
As Director of Operations, you will have overall accountability for delivering exceptional client service and ensuring operational excellence. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead a team of senior operations managers, driving performance, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement. You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational delivery, fostering a positive, solution-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and develop senior operational teams to achieve and exceed KPIs.
* Collaborate with the senior executive team to shape and execute the company's strategic plan.
* Oversee delivery of all operational and contractual commitments, ensuring compliance with policies, values, and behaviours.
* Build strong client relationships to drive retention, satisfaction, and growth.
* Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, driving timely and effective solutions.
* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high engagement.
* Identify and capitalise on business development opportunities within existing contracts.
* Align with central functions to enhance service delivery and implement best practice.
* Ensure all contracts comply with QHSE standards, monitoring incidents and corrective actions.
Candidate Profile
* Significant experience in senior leadership roles within facilities management or related technical services.
* Strong background in delivering Hard FM/technical services.
* Demonstrated success in leading teams to deliver on agreed SLA's with clients.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting internal and external relationships.
* Proven track record of achieving financial targets and operational KPIs.
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
