Health Care Assistant - Respite Service
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging respite service supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and promoting the rights of individuals with disabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of QQI level 5 in health and social care or relevant healthcare qualification for HCA
* Minimum of 1 year's experience of working with individuals with an Intellectual Disability
* Knowledge and understanding of HIQA Standards & other relevant legislative requirements under the Health Act 2007.
* Proven track record in initiative, motivation, activities planning, community building.
* Awareness of Positive Behaviour Supports. Programme Development / Skills Teaching Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Flexibility in all aspects of work Ability to meet demands Flexible working hours Full clean manual driving licence essential).
