You will take responsibility for meeting daily output targets, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements. You will lead and motivate a team of operators, overseeing shift handovers, coordinating labour and machine allocation, and addressing operational issues as they arise. The role also involves analysing performance data, supporting equipment troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, including lean practices, to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. You will ensure all reporting, audits, and process documentation are completed accurately and in line with operational expectations.What you'll need to succeedYou will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment along with proven leadership capability within a production or shift based setting. Strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast paced environment are essential. You will be confident in using computer systems, capable of completing accurate documentation, and comfortable influencing team performance through coaching and development.
