Job Description
Maintenance Technicians play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, performing routine checks and repairs, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement planned maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure all plant and equipment is in good working order.
* Work with the Manufacturing Department to ensure jigs, fixtures, and tooling are available as needed.
* Ensure all safety protocols are followed and that equipment is installed and maintained safely.
* Provide technical support to the Production Team, resolving equipment issues and implementing process improvements.
* Liaise with suppliers and contractors to identify and purchase required equipment and materials.
* Install and commission new equipment, working closely with the Technical Department to ensure seamless integration into our production processes.
Requirements
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in a maintenance environment, with at least 2 years' experience in medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Completion of a craft apprenticeship is highly desirable.
* Experience in PLC Logic programming and wiring would be beneficial.
