CSA Foreperson - Civils
Location: Finglas, Northwest Dublin
4yr project programme. Enabling works, civils, concrete, ducting.
We are seeking a site foreperson/supervisor to join our civils team on a major power project. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate daily site activities, manage operatives and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with construction drawings and health & safety requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily CSA site activities, including civil works, concrete, foundations, structural elements, and architectural finishes.
Lead and manage site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, discipline, and adherence to site rules.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with construction drawings, method statements, specifications, and quality standards.
Actively monitor site progress, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions to maintain programme targets.
Maintain a strong site presence, providing hands‑on guidance and resolving day‑to‑day construction challenges.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, ensuring safe systems of work are followed at all times.
Conduct toolbox talks, daily briefings, and site inductions as required.
Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC teams, and other discipline supervisors to ensure seamless integration of works.
Carry out site inspections and quality checks, ensuring defects are identified and rectified promptly.
Ensure materials, plant, and equipment are available and used efficiently on site.
Assist with inspections, surveys, and handover activities, including snagging and close‑out of CSA works.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety documentation.
Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager with planning, sequencing, and reporting of CSA activities.
