We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager who will join our Tax Team to focus mainly on corporation tax and ensure compliance for the Group in Ireland and across several jurisdictions in which we operate. This role will be responsible for managing the corporate tax compliance, planning, and risk management activities across the organization, ensuring alignment with both domestic and international tax laws. The role will be based in Head Office in CityWest Dublin and reporting to the Corporate Tax Lead.
Responsibilities
Review of corporation tax calculations and returns for all entities in the Group which will include Pillar II going forward.
Ensure preliminary corporation tax payments and balances of tax are paid on time for all entities within the Group.
Transfer Pricing and Inter‑Company Pricing assistance.
Liaise with our external tax advisors, auditors, Irish Revenue, HMRC, other foreign tax authorities and regulatory bodies when required.
Control and assist with Tax Planning and Budgeting.
Provide tax support and due diligence on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Partner with project managers, legal, and operations teams on tax implications of large‑scale contracts and international operations.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the Group.
Ensure effectiveness, accuracy, implementation and adherence to the Sisk Group’s Internal Control and Risk Management Policy.
Streamlining of tax processes/controls.
Experience
Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory across multiple jurisdictions
Strong understanding of Irish and UK tax systems, with exposure to international tax
Construction sector experience would be considered an advantage
Qualifications
CTA qualified
ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Motivated and enthusiastic personality, with a ‘hands‑on’ attitude
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Strong interpretive and analysis skills
Ability to standardise processes, and suggest improvements to same
