Quality Manager
, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all operations. You'll oversee a dedicated technical team and drive a culture of excellence that supports the business's continued growth.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Lead and continually enhance the company's BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (BRCGS) systems, ensuring strong audit performance and ongoing certification.
* Oversee all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS), implementing robust policies and procedures in line with Irish and EU food safety legislation.
* Manage internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Act as the HACCP Team Leader, ensuring all HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP principles are effectively applied and maintained.
* Lead customer and third-party audits, ensuring full compliance with both customer and legislative requirements.
* Drive improvements through data analysis – including complaints, microbiological trends, and audit findings.
* Serve as the go-to technical authority across all product lines and customer segments.
* Manage the creation and maintenance of product specifications, data sheets, and certificates of analysis.
* Lead the crisis management process for any product recall or withdrawal events.
* Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing technical team of five professionals.
* Foster a strong food safety culture built on accountability, ownership, and professional growth.
* Oversee the supplier approval process and raw material verification program.
* Ensure all ingredients meet the company's rigorous quality and food safety standards.
* Contribute as a key member of the leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Bring
* A degree in
Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
.
* 3-5 years' experience
in a senior quality or technical management role within food manufacturing.
* Strong track record of maintaining
BRC certification
and leading successful audits.
* Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
* In-depth knowledge of
HACCP, TACCP, VACCP
, and quality management systems.
* Strong understanding of food legislation and customer technical requirements is desirable.
* Experience working with customer-facing technical interaction.
