Role Overview
Crewit Resourcing is looking for an Electrical Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing electrical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This includes overseeing design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover while ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, subcontractors, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery and effective problem‑solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all electrical project activities from planning through handover, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and designs, resolving technical issues as they arise.
Develop project schedules, resource plans, and procurement strategies for electrical works.
Oversee budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting for electrical packages.
Lead site teams and manage subcontractors to ensure high‑quality installation and compliance with standards.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams, attending project and progress meetings.
Manage procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project milestones.
Monitor on‑site progress, safety performance, and quality of electrical installations.
Manage variations, design changes, and risks, ensuring accurate documentation and commercial alignment.
Oversee testing, commissioning, certification, and preparation of handover documentation.
Strong understanding of electrical installations across commercial, industrial, data centre, or infrastructure projects
Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and industry regulations
Strong commercial awareness, budget management, and contract administration skills
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office
Strong problem‑solving, organisational, and planning abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
5+ years’ experience managing electrical packages or full electrical projects
Experience with large‑scale commercial, industrial, or MEP projects
Strong knowledge of safety standards and electrical regulations
Experience with contract forms such as JCT, NEC, or FIDIC (depending on region)
Professional certification is an advantage (e.g., PMI, Chartered Engineer, etc.)
