We’re seeking a dynamic Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple gastro-bars, ensuring each venue delivers outstanding customer experiences, maintains operational excellence, and meets financial targets. You’ll be the driving force behind team development, brand consistency, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Venue Oversight: Manage operations across several gastro-bars, ensuring smooth service, atmosphere, and compliance.
* Leadership & Coaching: Support and mentor managers and staff, fostering a culture of hospitality and accountability.
* Customer Experience: Champion high standards of service, ambience, and guest satisfaction.
* Sales & Profitability: Monitor KPIs, control costs, and implement strategies to boost revenue and margins.
* Stock & Supplier Management: Oversee stock control, attend monthly stock take meetings, liaise with suppliers, and ensure quality and consistency in food and beverage offerings.
* Licensing & Compliance: Ensure all venues adhere to licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
* Local Engagement: Build relationships with local communities, event organisers, and tourism bodies to enhance pub visibility and footfall.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience managing multiple pub venues or hospitality sites (3+ years preferred).
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent understanding of pub operations, licensing, and customer service.
* Financial acumen and ability to interpret performance data.
* Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.
