Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations and standards of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring they meet brand cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness protocols. This role includes leading and training housekeeping staff, monitoring Out-of-Service rooms, and coordinating with the Front Desk to align with guest arrival schedules. Regular inspections of rooms, public spaces, and maintenance progress are conducted to uphold quality standards and proactively prevent guest complaints. The supervisor also ensures proper inventory of supplies and strict adherence to established procedures, maintaining high levels of operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. This role is based at Alila Mayakoba.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping or hotel operations, preferably within a full-service or luxury hotel environment
* Proven leadership and team management abilities, including experience in training and supervising staff
* Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to upholding brand standards in cleanliness, maintenance, and guest service
* Strong problem-solving and guest relations skills, with the ability to address complaints and operational challenges effectively
* Proficiency in hotel systems such as HotSos, Opera, or similar platform
