Night Hotel Staff

This is a key front-facing role responsible for the smooth and secure running of the hotel during the night.

As a Night Hotel Staff, you will be responsible for welcoming late-arriving guests, assisting with check-in/check-out procedures, monitoring the premises to ensure guest safety and hotel security, handling guest queries or requests professionally and efficiently, setting up and servicing meeting rooms or function spaces as needed, assisting with room service or late-night guest needs, completing nightly audits and basic front office admin tasks, preparing the hotel for the next day, supporting with early morning guest departures, wake-up calls, or taxi bookings, and ensuring fire safety and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.


About the Role

* Welcome late-arriving guests and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
* Monitor the premises throughout the night to ensure guest safety and hotel security
* Handle guest queries or requests professionally and efficiently
* Set up and service meeting rooms or function spaces as needed
* Assist with room service or late-night guest needs (e.g. delivering extra linen, drinks, etc.)
* Complete nightly audits and basic front office admin tasks (training provided)
* Prepare the hotel for the next day (e.g. setting up breakfast areas, ensuring lobby and public areas are clean and presentable)
* Support with early morning guest departures, wake-up calls, or taxi bookings
* Ensure fire safety and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
* Assist housekeeping or maintenance teams with overnight tasks when required


Requirements

* Previous experience in a similar hotel or hospitality role is preferred but not essential
* Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly manner
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities independently
* Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail
* Basic computer skills for front desk and night audit tasks
* Fluent English, both spoken and written
* Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Manual handling certificate and knowledge of fire safety procedures is an advantage (training can be provided)
