7 years IT experience ESSENTIAL Excellent understanding and working knowledge of all types of PC hardware, software, printers and peripherals.This is a highly pressurised support area which operates under tight deadlines with the highest of quality expectations from all user communities.The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables, are applicable to this Role.
Accept, diagnose and resolve 2nd level service requests assigned
Assign requests to relevant 3rd parties where request cannot be resolved within Field Engineers
Responsible for the support of all hardware/software end user problems which cannot be either resolved or sufficiently diagnosed
Must have the ability to interact with all levels of staff across the organisation and explain technical issues using non-technical terminology.
Closing tickets effectively and efficiently to avoid a backlog of aged tickets.
The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.
Experience in building, testing, deploying and managing standardised images across a large and diverse environment, adding software to software centre, testing Software prior to deployment, SCCM deployed in the environment
Experience using SCCM to support end users and resolve issues remotely
Experience in supporting and maintaining remote access by end users, running and creating remote access reports based on customer needs.
General experience working with a ticketing system
Experience in drafting and maintaining technical Books of Knowledge (BOKS) to ensure a uniformity of approach by colleagues when supporting problem resolution.
Experience in Installing PC's / Laptops – configuring IP details, applying correct image, Windows 10 devices and configuring as part of domain
Experience with Active Directory
Experience repairing PC's, laptops and smartphones.
Experience in setting up smart devices (iOS & Android)
Experience in supporting VOIP, deployment and user changes, Configuring jabber access via smartphones and laptops, configure extension mobility, which is delivered via Cisco Call
Experience in supporting Video Conferencing, Cisco deployed in the environment.
Experience in deploying and assisting end users in the use of Enterprise Mobility Management solution and Citrix EMM
Experience in patching and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to resolve networking, connectivity and infrastructure issues
Experience in supporting Wi-Fi for both corporate users and guest accounts
Experience in installing and maintaining printers – configure IP details, configure protocols, configure defaults.
