Our client is a growing medical device company, looking to add more staff for their day shift and evening shift requirements.
Job Description – Production Operative:
Manufacture of product in strict compliance with procedures and batch manufacturing records according to a production schedule.
Work with other team members to maintain current production including manufacturing of sub-assembly parts, assembly and packaging of the product.
Maintain accurate and timely testing manner, recording of test results related to quality, work in progress and special requirements.
Work with engineers and technicians to resolve process issues and suggest improvements on an ongoing basis.
Assist with training of other employees.
Will require to operate automatic, semi-automatic and moulding machinery.
Maintain clean room integrity by adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
Other such duties as may be assigned from time to time by their Manager.
Hours of work – 3 shifts available:
Day Shift:
Mon – Fri, 07:*******:30
Evening Shift:
Mon – Fri, 16:*******:45
Rotating / 2 Cycle Shift
: Days/Evenings on rotating weekly basis
Rate of Pay:
Day Shift:
€***** per hour
Evening Shift:
€***** per hour
Rotating / 2 Cycle Shift
: €***** per hour
Job requirements – Production Operative:
Leaving Cert and/or minimum 2 year Medical Device manufacturing/production experience – required.
Working knowledge of the GMP practices and manufacturing processes – preferred.
Must be a highly motivated with ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
Ability to learn and master new skills.
Must have a high level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small plastic and metal components in manufacturing setting.
Ability to follow and execute processes/directions.
Use of precision hand tools.
Contract Type:
Full time
Long term (6 month probation/agency contract, followed by long term employment)
