Job Overview
The purpose of this role is to ensure all services are covered adequately by dealing with driver issues, resolving access issues, monitoring driver activity and communicating with drivers, internal staff and customers to meet the requirement of the companys customers.
The role includes allocating of new ring in jobs and urgent or failed jobs to existing transport routes, and the continual monitoring and checking of routes while in progress and calling drivers to query failures and try to rectify issues so collection services can be completed.
Responsibilities And Duties
* Ensure the drivers complete their allocated work, and they call in issues for the controller to resolve.
* Ensure all vehicles are compliant with agreed service & DOE requirements
* Ensure the daily roster is followed, and drivers have fully working equipment (tablet, chargers etc)
* Continually in contact with drivers to get updates on work.
* Use camera system and telematics are used to monitor drivers and check when drivers claim no access or bin not out.
* Deal with queries from Customer Care, and queries escalated through the Sales Team and management.
* Communicate with drivers and ensure they know their working days/hours and what is required of them.
* Display weekly rosters and holiday planners in prominent positions in Main Office, Office Window, Security huts and remote sites daily and weekly.
* Debrief every route thoroughly every day, questioning any exceptions or service failures and ensuring any missed service is validated by location and appropriate photograph.
* Completing Debrief log every day, and saving to Google Drive
* Ensuring all accidents are logged on accident app on tablet real-time, reviewing the accidents and when necessary, debriefing accident and gathering photos and video footage etc
* Daily reports on amcs to ensure trucks are operating correctly. Opening cases to amcs if there are any truck issues.
* Scheduling weekly bin movement jobs. Making sure instructions are correct for the driver and responsible for rescheduling any jobs uncomplete.
* Contamination WhatsApp groups. These are to be monitored daily, and customers are to be contacted.
* Responsible for monthly tacho downloading and reporting.
* Responsible to getting cross trained on commercial on weighsoft and skips to cover during holiday relief.
* Ordering of supplies for service delivery.
* Actioning any drivers requests from our whatsapp groups.

* Ability to use company systems (Weigh soft; Camera Systems and Microsoft Office Products) Wis and AMCS portals.
* Be personable and approachable for all staff (transport team & other departments)
* Provide excellent customer relationship management
* Understand legal requirements for Working Time Directive, RSA driving hours, Licensing and Health & Safety rules
* Be flexible and prepared to work extra hours when required to ensure no failures of service
* Be prepared to work Saturdays (if required) and Bank Holidays Time in Lieu will be provided. Bank holidays is shared out between the team.
