We require a DeltaV Operations Engineer to support a biotech manufacturing facility for our multinational biopharma client based in Limerick. The role focuses on operational flexibility, environmental sustainability, and fast‑track delivery concepts.
The successful candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in DeltaV Automation within the Life Sciences Industry, and will work with a team of Engineers and Developers to design, enhance and support DeltaV control systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive design and enhancement activities across DeltaV control systems and equipment in collaboration with System Integrator Engineers and Developers.
* Carry out solution assessments and performance reviews to ensure smooth operation of automated systems.
* Partner with project teams to support the integration of new equipment or technologies into the manufacturing workflow.
* Provide training and mentorship to other engineers on site where applicable.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards including GAMP, S‑88 Batch Standard and 21 CFR Part 11.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical DCS environment using Emerson DeltaV.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience with DeltaV control system design.
* Prior instrumentation experience desirable.
* Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards including GAMP, S‑88 Batch Standard and 21 CFR Part 11.
* Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
