We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Assistant General Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a bold, future-focused food and drink offering at the RDS - one of Ireland's most prestigious event venues!

Assistant General Manager – The role
Define and align F&B strategy with client and Venue Director including clear tactical planning
Playing an integral role in leading day-to-day delivery of exceptional hospitality solutions with a focus on product quality and service standards
Using a structured, measurable, and fast-paced approach, bringing innovative ideas for continuous improvement
Monitor market trends and competitors to stay ahead
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences
Lead day-to-day operations to deliver high-quality service and guest experiences
Maintain consistent standards across food, service, brand, and compliance (H&S, suppliers)
Recruiting and developing engaging teams; ensure effective communication and HR compliance
Own financial performance (budgets, costs, profitability) using data and insights
Drive sales growth, innovation, and menu development while ensuring quality and safety
What we're looking for
Senior leadership experience in large-scale, premium hospitality or live events including mixed portfolio of outlets and business functions
Passionate about people with exceptional communication skills – building and developing teams
Innovative, agile, and resilient, with a relentless focus on quality and guest experience
Positive and passionate focus on food – a natural flare for hospitality
Experience of working with a client group
Previous P&L accountability and evidence of commercial nous
Exudes confidence, energy, and charisma
Can effectively switch between being the leader and a team player according to the situation at hand
Excellent problem solving skills - Structured approach but also demonstrates flexibility and agility
Calm and resilient.
