Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platforms Technical Support Lead
State Street's Security Platforms team, part of the Cyber Fusion Centre, requires a DLP Platforms Technical Support Lead. This team designs, manages, and supports security tools that enable security operations across State Street. These tools are crucial to State Street's cyber security, facilitating threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and other key functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the technical support team responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing DLP systems.
2. Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
3. Tune and upgrade system components, following internal testing and change management processes.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance risk-driven data protection.
5. Contribute to projects improving current DLP capabilities, driving adoption, and enabling future growth.
6. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
7. Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms.
8. Partner within the Cyber Fusion Centre teams to ensure DLP platforms meet operational needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains.
- Familiarity with enterprise DLP platforms, such as Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview.
- Strong skills managing application deployments, configurations, and updates on Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
- Understanding of current data protection, information security, and cyber security practices and techniques.
- Direct experience managing, mentoring, and leading teams.
- Ability to create an environment that drives knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security.
- Desire to learn, combined with a collaborative working style and strong personal work ethic.
- Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment, emphasizing reliability and system availability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Security certifications may be beneficial.
- Experience in financial services may be beneficial.
