Job Title: Railway Store Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Railway Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective staff management and strategic planning.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to cover absenteeism and work extra hours if required.
Main Responsibilities
* Staff Management: Manage staff effectively to ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
* Strategic Planning: Plan, review and implement short and long-term strategies to further develop the growth and development of the business.
* Customer Service: Ensure customers are served as quickly and efficiently as possible by planning staffing levels for busy periods.
* Sales Growth: Maximise the needs, requests and demands of customers wherever possible and develop and increase sales of all products.
Key Performance Indicators
* Achieve high performance standards in the store.
* Maximise both staff and store performance to increase profitability.
* Maintain adequate staffing levels for the store.
* Assist in the recruitment and selection of replacement staff as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible availability to cover absenteeism and work extra hours if required.
