This is a team leading role that blends direct client engagement with hands-on paraplanning and team oversight.The successful candidate will lead, mentor and develop a high performing paraplanning team while also working closely with Financial Planners to deliver high quality financial plans for our Private & Premier clients.This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to drive both team performance and client outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor and develop the paraplanning team to ensure high performance, technical accuracy and consistent delivery of financial plans.Set team objectives in line with company goals and monitor performance against targets.Provide coaching, feedback and ongoing professional mentoring to the team of Paraplanners.Paraplanning & Client DeliveryPrepare, review and contribute to high-quality financial plans for Private & Premier clients.Conduct research and analysis on financial products, ensuring suitability and compliance.Support client meetings, providing technical expertise and clear communication of recommendations.Process Improvement & ComplianceImplement and maintain efficient paraplanning processes to enhance productivity and ensure regulatory compliance.Develop a “centre of excellence” approach to paraplanning, ensuring quality, consistency and best practice.Collaborate with Financial Planners to standardise procedures and reporting across the team.Act as a key link between Paraplanners and Financial Planners to ensure smooth workflow and alignment of client objectives.Contribute to internal projects and initiatives aimed at improving client service and operational efficiency.Skills and ExperienceCertified Financial Planner (CFP®) qualification required or currently in process of completingProven experience in a paraplanning role with strong technical financial planning knowledgePrevious experience managing or leading a team, with the ability to motivate and develop othersStrong working knowledge of financial planning tools such as VoyantExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearlyAbility to build effective relationships across teams and with clientsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhy work with usExcellent remuneration package and competitive bonus structureHybrid, flexible working model (4 days from home / 1 day in office)25 days annual leaveEmployer pension contributions up to 10%Income Protection / Death In ServiceRecognised as a Great Place to Work 2024/2025 and a Best Workplace 2025
