We are currently recruiting a Senior Radiographer for a Hospital in Cork, Ireland .
Key Responsibilities Perform radiographic and imaging examinations in line with Department of Radiology requirements.
Coordinate and organise patient imaging within the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Provide training and guidance to new Radiographers, student Radiographers, and trainee Radiologists.
Contribute to and support the clinical education of student Radiographers.
Assist in training new staff members on equipment use and departmental protocols.
Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining procedures, expected waiting times, and addressing any concerns.
Review radiology requests to confirm accuracy, including patient details, LMP status, clinical indications, and any potential hazards.
Requirements CORU registration is essential.
4–5 years of post-graduate Radiography experience.
CT experience required.
Strong communication skills.
