About The Role
We seek a highly skilled and visionary Senior Manager of AI Agent Engineering to lead the development of AI agents for our HR and Finance business. You will build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, drive technical excellence, and ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure AI solutions that seamlessly integrate with our ecosystem and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Build, lead, and mentor a team of AI engineers.
* Ensure timely project delivery of AI agents.
* Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
* Work with architects to ensure seamless platform integration.
* Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
* Evaluate and integrate AI technologies like LLMs, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
* Collaborate with external vendors and open-source communities.
* Ensure AI solutions comply with data privacy, security, and standards.
* Implement testing, monitoring, and feedback loops for AI performance.
* Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI solutions within Workday.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Experience in hiring and building AI-focused products.
* 5+ years in software engineering leadership, with AI/ML focus.
* 10+ years in designing and developing mission-critical systems at scale.
* Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
* Experience with enterprise AI architectures, APIs, and automation.
* Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
* Experience with Workday platform is a plus.
