SimoTech are seeking a Foxboro Automation Engineer tojoin our team, supporting a global pharmaceutical client of ours, onsite intheir large Cork campus, which includes multiple high-technology manufacturingplatforms.
Working in a hybrid capacity, you will join our embeddedteam working on automation projects across production and utilities, includingsupporting the deployment of a Syncade MES project for downstream processing.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience workingwith DCS Batch Automation systems such as Foxboro and have worked on thecommissioning and qualification of automation projects.
KeyResponsibilities
 * Supporting automationprojects in a biopharma process.
 * Development ofFunctional and Detailed Design Specifications.
 * Configurationand testing of automated systems.
 * Provide supportwith commissioning and qualification.
 * Work withprocess, project and engineering to plan and deliver projects.
 * Ensure projectschedule is in line with project timelines and KPIs.
Requirements
 * Bachelor’sDegree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
 * Minimum of 3+years DCS Batch Automation Experience with automation systems such as ABB,Foxboro or DeltaV.
 * Strongknowledge of S-88 Batch Standard.
 * Chemical APIexperience.
 * Ability tointeract and communicate with other engineering and business disciplines.
 * Good understanding on GAMP.
 * Role provides a high degree of autonomy to allow the successfulcandidate to reach their full potential.
 * Develop new skills and enhance technical ability by working withinnovative technologies in a multi-disciplined environment.
