You will support Mondelez Europe Quality Certification Lead in the management of Sustainability certification schemes on a variety of sites (related to claims on packs) across Europe. The aim is to maintain successful certification where the programs are already implemented, and to support projects of new programs implementation as needed in the future. You will also support digitalization of some tasks to gain efficiency. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with the Quality Community in Europe (plants & central), as well as Mondelez Digital Services (MDS), Procurement, Marketing/Sales, and external partners.
Responsibilities
* Manage Sustainability Certification Programs (Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, RSPO) for ongoing maintenance across sites.
* Plan and supervise certification activities; communicate changes to Certification Bodies (people, process, products, sites in scope).
* Provide information and training on Standards for new entrants and for standards changes when upgrades are published.
* Set up users and train on standard-specific tools (traceability, artwork approval).
* Coordinate Internal Audit planning for each certification scheme; conduct some internal audits.
* Lead multisite external audits and support plants and central functions audits.
* Coordinate investigation of non-conformities and manage action plans; review audit invoices; maintain documentation on teamsite (certificates and audit reports).
* Optimize processes and procedures; recommend combinations of programs for efficiency; support new program implementation.
* Provide training for first implementation to plant(s) and central functions; prepare certification applications with required documentation for Certification Body; support plants with documentation creation (procedures, records).
* Digitalization tasks: create and optimize task reminders; consolidate Corrective & Preventive Action plans tracking; contribute to SAP projects to facilitate certification management; build learning modules for other functions involved.
What you will bring
* Experience in operations, quality and/or R&D.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize; strong communication and leadership skills in cross-functional teams.
* Business acumen with influencing and negotiating capabilities.
* Auditing certification or equivalent experience is an advantage.
Skills & Tools
* SharePoint management
* SAP QM knowledge is a strong advantage
* SAP PLM (nice to have)
Education
* Master Degree in Food related sciences or Food Engineering
Languages
* Required: Fluent in English (oral & written); application in English.
* Preferred: Fluent in a 3rd language (especially French).
Certifications
* Qualified as Internal auditor
Work Experience
* More than 5 years in FMCG
* At least 1-2 years in a plant
* 2 years minimum in Quality & Food Safety
* Experience in cross-country teams and remote work
* Experience in certification program management
Other Competencies
* Digital savviness; comfortable with Excel and numbers
* Organization skills for handling multiple activities concurrently
* Ability to deliver training in English
