Job Overview:
The Commercial Leadership Role involves overseeing the commercial function on major construction projects. This includes managing a team of Quantity Surveyors and ensuring robust financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement commercial strategies across multiple projects.
* Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure compliance with commercial procedures.
* Review and authorise sub-contracts and payment certificates in line with agreed thresholds.
* Manage monthly valuations and cost reports in coordination with the project team.
* Take ownership of commercial performance and identify risks to ensure targets are met.
* Provide input into procurement and tendering processes.
* Support the finance team with cash flow management and aged debt recovery.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* Minimum 8–10 years' experience in commercial roles within a main contracting environment.
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
* Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing commercial teams.
