Currently looking for Full-Time / Part Time Healthcare Assistants to work across our two Dublin Central Mission locations based in Sandymount / Glenegeary. Working under the direction of the Home Manager/ Director of Care, the Healthcare Assistant will provide appropriate personal care and other support as required.QualificationsHealthcare QQI Level 5 or a comparable relevant qualification of at least QQI Level 5Knowledge and experience of working in the elder care sector (Desirable)Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsResponsibilitiesBe accountable for the provision of high quality, effective care.Provide holistic care to all residentsAttend to resident needs at all timesPossess a focus on quality of service and approach every resident with dignity and respectEnsure to create good interpersonal relations with residents and their famililiesTo comply with all policies and procedures of Dublin Central Mission.Be familiar with regulatory bodies and the role they play in governing nursing homes/ sheltered housing.Demonstrate full competence in duties being undertakenReport any matters of concern to your immediate manager particularly relating to residents in distressCreate good working relations with residents and their familiesCommunicate with the wider team in affective mannerWork to the highest standards as outlined in the company proceduresBe flexible and be able to work between sites and work different shiftsMaintain a professional appearance and dress codeRepresent he company in a Professional MannerAttend all training as allocated by the companyMaintain Professional Appearance at all timesComply with all Policies and Procedures
