We are seeking a seasoned professional to take ownership of our indirect tax portfolio and play a key role in advising on compliance, strategy, and risk management.
About the Role
* Manage and deliver a wide range of indirect tax advisory and compliance engagements with various clients.
* Provide strategic guidance across domestic and cross-border transactions, ensuring commercially sound advice is given.
* Lead VAT compliance reviews and support with audit defense and queries from tax authorities, maintaining excellent relationships.
* Liaise with colleagues, clients, and tax authorities to resolve technical issues promptly.
* Stay up to date with changes in indirect tax legislation and translate these into business impact for informed decision-making.
* Mentor junior members of the team, developing their skills and expertise.
* Contribute to business development, proposals, and client relationship management, identifying new opportunities.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients, providing expert advice in line with local and international legislation, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
