Overview
Proclinical is seeking an Automation Engineer to contribute to impactful pharmaceutical projects by designing and commissioning DeltaV-based batch systems.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving complex automation challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will play a critical part in ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and delivering high-quality automation solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement DeltaV automation solutions, including hardware configuration, control modules, and graphics.
Design and validate batch recipes in line with ISA-88 standards and GMP requirements.
Support lifecycle management of batch processes, including optimization, troubleshooting, and change control.
Lead commissioning activities such as FAT, SAT, and IQ-OQ protocols for automation systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions on time and within scope.
Ensure all automation work adheres to regulatory standards (GMP, GAMP5) and is fully documented.
Key Skills and Requirements
Proficiency with Emerson DeltaV systems in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch control principles.
Hands-on experience in commissioning and qualification of automation systems.
Familiarity with GMP, GAMP5, and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple project timelines.
A degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field is preferred.
Experience with MES integration or other control platforms is a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally for project execution.
