Support Pharmacist – North Cork
QR Select is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Support Pharmacist to join an pharmacy in Charleville. This is a part-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The pharmacy operates 7 days a week, and the role will involve working alternative weekends.
As a Support Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with all regulations.Monitoring stock levels and maintaining effective communication with suppliers to ensure availability of required medications.Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets performance goals.Performing other day-to-day duties as required to support the smooth running of the pharmacy.
You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care to the local community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).The ability to work independently and take initiative.Strong time management skills to handle a busy workload effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, colleagues, and suppliers.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients.Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked.Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all regulatory and operational standards.Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.Assisting with the overall performance and smooth operation of the pharmacy.
