Theatre & Anaesthesia Implementation Specialist
This role focuses on assisting with the configuration, testing and validation of theatres and anaesthesia-related applications across the Cram Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
The Theatre & Anaesthesia Workstream Lead will guide you in aligning system functionality with theatre staff, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver the Theatre & Anaesthesia workstream for the Cram EHR implementation within UPMC Ireland under the guidance of the Theatre & Anaesthesia Workstream Lead.
* Support project governance by executing tasks within scope, coordinating stakeholder engagement and tracking milestones.
* Collaborate with the Theatre & Anaesthesia Workstream Lead and other team members to ensure alignment with theatre operations and program goals.
System Design & Workflow Support:
* Contribute to the design and validation of theatre workflows within MEDITECH Expanse and associated applications, enhancing user experience and efficiency.
* Evaluate and provide feedback on system functionality related to theatre processes, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
Implementation Support, Data Validation & Testing:
* Assist in theatre system configuration, data migration validation, and integration with existing or planned enterprise platforms, guaranteeing smooth system operation.
* Participate in testing activities for theatre modules, including integrated testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and identify areas for improvement.
Team Collaboration & Support:
* Coordinate cross-functional provider systems implementation activities across consultants, advanced nurse practitioners, resident medical staff etc., promoting effective communication and collaboration.
* Act as a liaison between theatre services and the Cram implementation team, facilitating open dialogue and resolving issues efficiently.
Documentation & Governance:
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including current state/future state maps, risk/issue logs, and change logs, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare materials for governance processes, such as the Clinical Design Forum and senior management meetings, to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of perioperative experience in an acute care hospital or surgical center.
* Familiarity with theatre workflows, clinical safety practices, and quality reporting standards, demonstrating a strong understanding of theatre operations and patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior hands-on experience with MEDITECH Expanse (especially the Surgical Services or OR module) or equivalent capabilities with other major EHR systems, showcasing technical expertise and adaptability.
