You will be working with senior people in the Ireland and UK Team to further develop and expand our market share with clients in Ireland, as an important component of the wider Transport strategy. The successful candidate will lead and help grow a team delivering successful transport schemes for our clients.

A Little More About Your Role...

You will have established client relationships and extensive experience of business development and work-winning, possessing an active understanding of the current transport market in Ireland. This skill set will be coupled with a proven ability to lead major transport planning and multi-disciplinary commissions.


Responsibilities

* Building and managing client relationships for our national and local frameworks to grow our portfolio of work.
* Leading transport planning and modelling support to project teams in the delivery of a varied portfolio of projects alongside colleagues in other service lines to deliver large multi-disciplinary projects.
* Build a local transport team leading and encouraging professional development through mentoring and training.


What we will be looking for

* A proven ability to develop and service a productive client work base in Ireland;
* Existing relationships with key clients e.g. TII, NTA;
* A proven track record in managing and directing transport projects;
* An in-depth understanding of transport project development processes and/or expertise in transport modelling;
* Significant experience in transport planning including production and review of transport plans and strategies, feasibility studies, Option Assessment Reports and Business Case development;
* Knowledge of current transport policy at sub-regional, regional and national level;
* Extensive knowledge of applicable transport guidance and best practice;
* Strong numerical and analytical skills and excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools;
* Ability to produce project reports, including technical documents to a high technical standard;
* Ability to communicate technical arguments to technical and non-technical clients, and present outputs from studies to range of audiences;
* Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body;
* Strong technical and project leadership across a portfolio of projects and clients; and
* Experience of negotiating with a range of stakeholders through the application of strong communication and collaboration skills.
