About the Role
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented
Site Clerk
to join our construction team in Navan. This role supports the Site Manager and wider project team in ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations, accurate documentation, and efficient office coordination. Key Responsibilities
Site Administration
* Maintain and manage all site documentation, including drawings, registers, daily reports, and correspondence.
* Assist with compiling and filing health & safety documents, RAMS, permits, and compliance records.
* Support the Site Manager with maintaining site diaries and weekly progress reports.
* Handle incoming and outgoing documentation through common data environments (CDEs) such as Procore, Viewpoint, or SharePoint.
Procurement & Materials
* Track deliveries, record materials received, and report discrepancies.
* Maintain inventory logs and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Assist with preparing requisitions and maintaining procurement files.
Contractor & Workforce Support
* Maintain site attendance records and subcontractor registers.
* Coordinate onboarding paperwork and ensure all personnel have valid certifications.
* Provide administrative support to subcontractors and project teams as required.
Financial & Cost Support
* Assist with processing invoices, delivery dockets, and timesheets.
* Track small tools, consumables, and site expenditure.
General Office Duties
* Manage filing systems, emails, printing of drawings, and document control.
* Organise site meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and ensure distribution of updated documentation.
* Support general site logistics and communication between project stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a Site Clerk, Site Administrator, or related construction admin role (preferred but not essential).
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Experience with construction software or CDE platforms is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a site team.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
Qualifications
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
* Construction-related course, business administration, or document control training is an advantage.
* Safe Pass may be required depending on site access.
