Job DescriptionWe are seeking aQualified Electricianwith experience insolar PV installations and EV charging solutionsto join a dynamic electrical services team. The successful candidate will work across theMunster region, supporting residential, commercial, and light industrial projects. This role offers hands-on work on renewable energy and sustainable technology installations, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, and commission solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, mounting structures, and cablingInstall and commission EV charging stations (domestic and commercial), including single and three-phase installationsCarry out electrical installations and upgrades to support renewable energy systemsPerform electrical testing and inspection, including EICR and PAT testing, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standardsRead and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specificationsEnsure correct installation of distribution boards, isolators, surge protection devices (SPDs), and RCDsProvide fault diagnosis and repair for solar PV and EV charging systemsMaintain accurate documentation including test certificates, commissioning reports, and handover packsWork closely with project managers, site supervisors, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time and to specificationFollow all health & safety procedures, including site-specific RAMS, toolbox talks, and safe working practicesTravel across the Munster region to complete installations and service calls efficientlyEssential RequirementsFully qualified Electrician (QQI / City & Guilds / Equivalent)Strong experience in electrical installations with a focus on solar PV and/or EV chargingProven competency in electrical testing and compliance (EICR, PAT testing)Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase distributionAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematicsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsFull clean driving licenceWillingness to travel across the Munster regionExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused approachDesirableSolar PV or EV charging certifications (e.g., SEAI PV Installer, NICEIC, etc.)Experience with battery storage systemsExperience with commercial solar projectsFamiliarity with smart charging and energy management systemsExperience working at height and with roof-mounted installationsCSCS card or relevant site safety certifications
