Our Client, an engineering design consultancy based in Macroom, County Cork are recruiting for a Revit / CAD Technician to join their technical team. The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of civil, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects and contribute to high-quality engineering design delivery within a collaborative and progressive consultancy environment. The role will involve close coordination with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders, supporting projects from concept through to construction. This is a hybrid, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
* Production of high-quality 2D general arrangement drawings derived from 3D Revit models and 2D CAD information
* Preparation of GA coordination drawings across multidisciplinary projects
* Development, coordination, and maintenance of BIM models and associated documentation in line with company BIM standards, protocols, and procedures
* Participation in design, coordination, and technical review meetings
* Preparation, management, and maintenance of drawing registers, including control of drawing revisions and issue status
* Liaison with clients, project managers, and internal design teams to agree project requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines
Key Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar CAD / BIM Technician role within an engineering or construction environment.
* Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
* Experience using Civil 3D would be a distinct advantage.
* Full driving licence.
Salary is based on experience and in the region of €45,000 – €65,000, depending on experience along with pension is offered. For further information, please email me directly
