With BRC grade AA+, Bord Bia accreditation, DAFM approval, and an Origin Green member, we are committed to quality and sustainability.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Supervisor located in Tyrrellspass. The Maintenance supervisor will be responsible for daily Maintenance planning, overseeing and completing all aspects of preventative maintenance, fitting, welding, electrical issues, and ensuring efficient maintenance management. Key duties include supervising maintenance staff, managing maintenance around production schedules, optimizing operational processes, stock control, low down time, efficient purchase control, quality assistance and liaising with other departments to meet production targets.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance of the plant and equipment to optimum performance.Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team.Implementation of preventative maintenance programmes for all machines.Assist with the continuous monitoring of all machinery and equipment within the plant.Ensure real time repair of machines and equipment to get them back up & running within optimum time frame.Perform all pre start, hygiene and safety checks as necessary.Report all faults, damages or electrical or mechanical defaults to the Line Supervisor, ensuring all machinery is only used when it is safe to use. Record checks as and when directed.Keep breakdowns to a minimum and increase machine availability through continuous improvement.Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues.Adhere to company safety policies at all times.Experience with electrical panels and fault finding is a must.Reporting to Site ManagerJob Type: Full-timeJob Duties:Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical/motor systems while observing all statutory and legal requirementsRunning tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installationInspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazardsFault finding and diagnosisCustom circuit designReviewing maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing workManaging peers, dividing job tasks and/or working as a team when necessaryManaging or working with subcontractorsFitterTIG/MIG weldingEnsuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported
