Job Title: Chief IT Infrastructure Manager
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT operations professional to lead our daily IT infrastructure, applications, and support services.
Responsibilities
* IT Operations & Infrastructure: Manage IT systems, servers, networks, and storage (on-prem & cloud) ensuring high availability, security, and compliance (ISO, ITIL).
* Applications & Support: Oversee business applications and databases (SQL, Oracle, No SQL), manage 1st-3rd line Helpdesk for incident, request, and issue resolution, and support updates, integrations, and performance improvements.
* Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement: Act as IT advisor to senior management, manage vendor relationships and SLAs, and promote adoption of emerging technologies (AI, ML).
* Reporting & Intelligence: Deliver performance and BI reports using tools like Power BI and champion data-driven decision-making and innovation.
* Security & Risk: Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures (SOC, Zero Trust) and manage identity systems (AD, Entra, Microsoft 365 tenancy).
Requirements
We require an individual with 10+ years' extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity. A degree in Engineering or Computer Science is essential, along with ITIL frameworks and ISO certification.
Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure and cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and proven experience in cybersecurity best practices and frameworks (NIS2, Zero Trust, firewalls) are also required.
Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, No SQL, Oracle) and virtualisation (VMware, Nutanix) is necessary, as well as proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra, and hybrid Exchange environments.
Hands-on experience managing a multi-tier Helpdesk (1st-3rd line) and 24/7 operations, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and experience with SLA/vendor management are all highly desirable.
